The MoonSun-RiseSet Walk

Nov 27th or Dec 26th or Dec 27th 2023 (weather dependent)

This is Gonna Be Wild

There are some big vistas along the way.

So, What’s The Idea?

Bring your camera | Take photos

Start with a sun rising, follow that up with moon setting, walk up a dale, cross over a moor on the border of the White and Dark Peaks, cross a weird ex-mining landscape, traverse an edge, have a beer, watch the moon rise and the sun set.

Knock up about 20 kilometres in the process (the walk has been edited!).

Let’s get some photos shot.

This is an incredibly varied walk. While there is a focus on the start and the end of day, the way along is full of little surprises.

“And at the end of the day, the moon rises again”
